See schedule o for complete mission statement. Compassion planet exists to help aged-out foster youth and at-risk young people overcome personal obstacles and reach their fullest potential. We accomplish this by providing sustainable resources such as food, housing, life-skills, jobs and outcome-based initiatives. Our program pairs youth with dozens of adult mentors who share in the common goal of equipping, encouraging and empowering underserved young people in the greater sacramento area. Additionally, we help fund our mission and provide training opportunities through creating social enterprises.
