The primary purpose of the organization is to provide free legal services to low-income people and victims of domestic violence. Our mission is to empower victims of domestic violence and low-income utahns to navigate the legal system through innovative and trauma-informed legal services. The organization recruits and trains legal professionals to provide pro bono work in new and meaningful ways, which enables thousands of people each year to pursue or defend their rights in court and ensure stability and security for their families. We named our organization after mount timpanogos with the vision that we will lift our clients like the peaks of the mountain elevate our eyes upward. Our motto is "lifting lives through the law".

Management reviews the form 990 before it is filed. The board of directors is also provided with a copy of the form 990 before it is filed. The board is allowed to make comments, ask questions, and offer suggestions prior to filing the form 990.

We enforce this by asking employees and board members to review the policy and sign that they are in compliance. Here is a description of the policy: at the time of hiring and then at the annual board meeting in may, each employee and board member shall be given a copy of the conflict of interest policy and the whistle blower policy and shall sign a statement verifying there is no conflict of interest and that the person has received copies of the policies.

OUR MISSION IS TO EMPOWER VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND LOW-INCOME UTAHNS TO NAVIGATE THE LEGAL SYSTEM THROUGH INNOVATIVE AND TRAUMA-INFORMED LEGAL SERVICES. THE ORGANIZATION RECRUITS AND TRAINS LEGAL PROFESSIONALS TO PROVIDE PRO BONO WORK IN NEW AND MEANINGFUL WAYS, WHICH ENABLES THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE EACH YEAR TO PURSUE OR DEFEND THEIR RIGHTS IN COURT AND ENSURE STABILITY AND SECURITY FOR THEIR FAMILIES.
