Our organization continues to successfully provide street outreach and navigation through our food distribution programs to reach communities that would otherwise go unserved due to homelessness and extreme poverty. We received an equipment grant to purchase a larger freezer and pallet jacks. Our Feeding Families Hope Food Pantries reached a milestone to be able to increase the number of seniors/elderly persons we serve monthly that were experiencing food insecurity and at risk of homelessness. This effort allowed our team to identify more of the elderly that were homeless, at risk of becoming homeless and/or that needed to be connected with our community partners for additional assistance with monthly expenses, home repairs, medical equipment or health issues. Our Meals on Wheels for the Homeless program enabled our team to distribute 14,000 pounds of food.
