“OVCC is an independent, not-for-profit organization that is funded entirely by its membership organizations. OVCC's Board of Directors has secured independent management and expert professional services from Global Inventures (www.inventures.com) and other firms with relevant expertise in managing global alliances and collaborative development efforts. There are three classes of membership: Founder, Sponsor, and Participant. In general, the Founder and Sponsor members will have greater influence and leadership on the technical output of OVCC. They can hold an OVCC board seat (subject to availability and/or an annual election) and can also lead committees and work groups. Participant members can take part in work groups, submit relevant product/service offerings for OVCC certification, and share in marketing aspects of OVCC,. OVCC is open to any company that is a video communications network service provider (NSP), video communications managed or hosted services provider (MSP), video network operations center (VNOC) provider or operator, or provider of communications equipment used by or with any of the above which enable the delivery of the OVCC technical specification. All participants in OVCC execute the OVCC membership agreement, which specifies adherence to the OVCC bylaws, IPR policy and Anti-trust policy. These documents are uniform across the membership basee with all members participating under identical constructs.”

“OVCC is led by a Board of Directors (BOD), which sets the overall strategy, vision, and budget for the consortium. The BOD also has the final approval on all OVCC output, including technical specifications. Under the BOD are three committees: Technical, Operations, and Marketing, each of which will have work groups or subcommittees supporting their activities. The BOD may vote to establish additional committees within OVCC over time.”
