“Part IIIWhat is the organizations primary exempt purposes?To provide support and programs that advance and promote healthy lifestyles, educational advancement, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability in the Greater Harrisburg community.... 28.a. Healthy Lifestyle Programs: Its About You Community Health and Wellness Expo provided more than 375 people with a full day of free health screenings, vaccinations, interactive fitness sessions, health information, interactive displays and demonstrations, and live presentations. There were more than thirty health, wellness, and community resource exhibitors, physicians, and other healthcare professionals onsite. The Expo included health and wellness awareness toolkits, financial literacy toolkits for children, conservation kits, reusable grocery bags,and water bottles. The Its About You Womens Health and Wellness programs impacted 75 women while focusing on breast cancer awareness, and Health and Wellness Caring for Women in Central Pennsylvania..... 29. Grateful Scholars Program: Encourages academic excellence and educational advancement by providing mentors to high school students as they prepare for college, coaches for first-year college students, scholarships, and workshops to seven students pursuing higher education at a 4-year college or university.... 30. Educational Advancement, Environmental Sustainability, Youth Development and Literacy Programs benefited 175 adults and 125 youths. The Financial Literacy Program includes interactive and educational sessions and workshops on budgeting, savings, financial matters, identity theft, senior safety, energy and water conservation, utility customer assistance programs, and state, local and community resources. Classroom Enrichment Program focuses on literacy and encourages reading by providing books to children and teens, and volunteering at area schools. Youth Development Program focuses on leadership development for middle school students. Environmental sustainability focused on raising awareness and education on recycling, reuseable products to reduce waste.... 31.Sharing, Caring and Giving Days provided donations to 501(c)(3) organizations including the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, Camp Curtin YMCA, and Bethesda Mission helping more than 700 households experiencing food insecurities and homelessness.”
