The successful implementation of Cartas in Veritate necessitates adequate, spiritual formation of volunteers, who in turn, also continue to practice integrated compassion of good works and evangelization throughout the rest of their lives. 3 Transformation Aid and charitable solidarity, that eventually transforms lives and restores the dignity of the underprivileged, inspires hope to those affected by natural disasters or long term poverty and aims at true human progress and the pursuit of justice. 4 Building of local Catholic communities which are able to bear witness and offer to the world the gift of charity and Truth over many decades. 5 Unity with Bishops One heart with the Magisterium and in unity with the bishops, CIVI ensures that workers of charity and the Church are also genuine witness of the Gospel.”
