“Part III, Line 28:A Way Out of No Way Project: A book of songs and stories by Jane Sapp, Let's Make a Better World: Stories and Songs by Jane Sapp, was completed in fy2018. ReCAST supported production of the songbook and creation of the accompanying podcast series; supported costs associated with dissemination of the book and launch events; helped ensure that the books would be affordable to its primary audience {K-12 educators}; and helped underwrite the collection of Sapp's materials for archival purposes. Thousands of music educators, chorus leaders, social justice activists, and children all benefit from this project.”

“Part III, Line 29: Hilde Domin Project: Provided emergency support to finish this project, which translated the poetry of German lyric poet and writer Hilde Domin and recorded a CD based on that poetry put to music. Hundreds of artists, historians, musicians will access the booklet and CD.”

“Part III, Line 30: Acting Together Project: This project continues with the distribution of Acting Together documentary, toolkit, and anthologies to support arts and peacebuilding activities via website, consultancies, speaking engagements, workshops, and trainings. In fiscal year 2018, more than a thousand educators, artists, students and cultural workers benefitted from engaging with Acting Together resources in many parts of the world. Work continued on the development of a new Acting Together on the World Stage Resources website and web-based dissemination plan (expected to go live in January 2020).”
