Therefore, no provision for income taxes has been presented in these combined financial statements for these entities. The organization has adopted financial accounting standards board (fasb) guidance regarding income taxes as codified in fasb accounting standards codification (asc) topic 740-10. At september 30, 2020, management does not believe it has taken any tax positions that are subject to a significant degree of uncertainty. The organization's income tax filings are subject to examination by the internal revenue service generally for three years after they were filed. The organization's income tax filings for years after the fiscal year ended september 30, 2016 remain open for examination.”
