Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Building bright futures (bbf) is a nonprofit organization working to improve the wellbeing of young children and families in vermont.

Building bright futures provides the funding for 12 regional council coordinators who lead the work of the regional councils to improve the well-being of vermont's children and families. These regional councils develop and support regional plans that support young children and families throughout their respective areas. There are also dozens of organizations throughout the state that are devoted to the health of vermont's young children that are affected by the work of building bright futures state advisory council.

THESE REGIONAL COUNCILS DEVELOP AND SUPPORT REGIONAL PLANS THAT SUPPORT YOUNG CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THEIR RESPECTIVE AREAS. THERE ARE ALSO DOZENS OF ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT THE STATE THAT ARE DEVOTED TO THE HEALTH OF VERMONT'S YOUNG CHILDREN THAT ARE AFFECTED BY THE WORK OF BUILDING BRIGHT FUTURES STATE ADVISORY COUNCIL.
