Schedule O To advocate on behalf of the renewable fuel industry in Minnesota, which in 2024 produced 1.4 billion gallons of ethanol, generated $5.2 billion in economic activity through sales, provided $1.2 billion in labor income, and supported 18,434 jobs across the state. Our core activities include supporting legislative action that advances the renewable fuel industry in Minnesota, promoting research that enhances renewable fuel products and processes, delivering marketing and communications strategies to educate and promote the benefits of renewable fuels, and working in collaboration with stakeholders to increase the availability of higher blends of ethanol, which benefit farmers and rural communities while improving air quality through decreased greenhouse gas emissions and lowering consumer energy costs. Form 990, Part VI, Line 6 ??? Explanation of Classes of Members or Shareholder MBA consists of 10 board members representing the 10 renewable fuel producers in the organization. In addition, MBA has nearly two dozen associate members. There are no shareholders. Voting rights are explicitly reserved for board members representing renewable fuel producer members, each of whom vote to approve the organization???s budget, operations, and strategic goals.
