The form 990 was prepared by a third party accountant and was presented to the rest of the board of directors before it was filed with the internal revenue service.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15

When determining compensation for the executive director, artistic administrator, vocal artist manager and development director, the board president informally surveyed organizations similar in size and scope to find a reasonable compensation. This was then presented to the board, who determined compensation based on the gathered information and the budget contraints. When discussions took place about compensating a board member for management services rendered, the respective person would recuse themselves from the conversation. Minutes were taken at each of these meetings and kept for records.
