To promote social welfare within the meaning of section 501(c)(4) of the internal revenue code, including, but not limited to seeking to improve the public's understanding of energy issues, the importance of energy to the nation's future, and the role federal and state policy can play in affecting our energy use.

PROMOTE SOCIAL WELFARE WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(c)4 OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SEEKING TO IMPROVE THE PUBLIC'S UNDERSTANDING OF ENERGY ISSUES, THE IMPORTANCE OF ENERGY TO THE NATION'S FUTURE, AND THE ROLE FEDERAL AND STATE POLICY CAN PLAY IN AFFECTING OUR ENERGY USE.
