“The art garden is a community art-making place providing a nurturing, non- judgemental and inspiring environment where people of all ages and experience explore, develop and share their unique artistic voices. We offer educational art programs for children, teens and adults as well as intergenrational art events for people to make art together in a collaborative creative community.”

“The art garden conducted an afterschool art program for teens throughout the year which included a regional teen exhibit and paid work opportunities for rural youth. We conducted summer art programming for children and teens. We facilitated a huge community art-making area with multiple free art activities at a nationally recognized local music festival, serving over a thousand people of all ages. We paid local artists stipends to create art for community art events, attended by hundreds. We coordinated and hosted community exhibits in our studio that were open to all ages and abilities, promoting dialogue and community connections through the arts.”
