The organization will support the arts and cultural development in the joplin, missouri area. The goals of the organization include enhancing the standard of living of the inhabitants of the city of joplin and surrounding areas by fostering and encouraging growth and development of a vibrant cultural community through enhancement of the arts, historic and natural preservation and education. It is the plan of the organization to provide a portion of funding and volunteer leadership support for a performance and visual arts facility in the joplin area (including a portion of funding and leadership for necessary feasibility studies for the facility project). In addition, connect2culture offers support services to local arts organizations and resources to increase community involvement and audience development for the arts. Through an alliance with these organizations and through arts advocacy and promotion, connect2culture will meet its goal to "enhance community through culture."
Connect2Culture strives to enrich the region by "igniting a passion for the arts, culture, and entertainment" as Joplin's community arts agency and a presenter of exceptional performances.

“Connect2Culture Conflict of Interest Policy Connect2Culture's conflict of interest policy applies to board members, immediate family members, staff, committee members, and volunteers. A conflict arises when an individual has a material personal interest, such as financial or ownership stakes, in a transaction involving Connect2Culture. Monitoring and Disclosure Board members must disclose conflicts of interest in writing before related discussions or decisions take place. They must abstain from voting, exerting personal influence, or being present during deliberations regarding the matter. All disclosures, abstentions, and decisions are documented in meeting minutes. Procedures A disinterested board member or knowledgeable party presents evidence supporting the transaction's fairness, such as competitive bids. Approval requires a majority vote of disinterested board members, constituting a quorum. Annual Disclosures and Reports Board members must complete an annual potential conflict report and affirm their understanding of the policy. The executive director oversees this process and ensures compliance. This policy ensures Connect2Culture operates transparently and in the best interest of the organization, avoiding potential conflicts before and after transactions occur.”
