| The Club hosted a 'Luau'. The Club sold tickets for dinner and a show held at Spring Valley Elementary School. The Principal of the school is also involved with planning,promoting, organizing, and is the Master of Ceremonies. This fundraiser take approximately 50 percent of the Clubs time to plan and organize. The Club sold tickets for $60 per person, hosted a silent auction from items donated from the community, sold refreshments, and sold desserts. This activity was 47 percent of the Clubs overall expenses for the fiscal year. All the proceeds raised from the Luau were given to the School District to build a school garden at Spring Valley Elementary. This activity was 27 percent of our overall expenses for the fiscal year and takes approximately 20 percent of the Clubs time to plan and organize.
