“To disseminate information to its membership to enable them to better interpret laws and to better perform their services as code officials in their respective localities as follows a to inform the code officials of new procedures of enforcement, new methods of construction, or the use of new products or materials available to the building trades, b to elevate the position of a code official to a level commensurate with the responsibilities and obligations placed upon him or her, c to act as a responsible authority on matters affecting code officials in general, d to maintain good fellowship and mutual understanding among its members and to foster cooperation between the membership and others directly or indirectly connected with the building industry, e to promote the affairs of the federation, this will contribute towards its perpetuity and f to promote the interest of and lend support to the activities of the international code council and other organizations.”

“A conducting an annual school within the geographic areas of the federation. Such school has covered subjects of interest to building officials. The presentations are made by persons selected by the board as being especially qualified to enlighten the membership on the selected subjects, b awarding certificates to those active members who have satisfactorily completed the courses offered at the annual school, c distributed to the membership such pertinent information and such publications as is deemed appropriate to assist them in carrying out their official duties and d management of a scholarship fund to promote the education and status of persons in the code enforcement profession.”
