“In order for the applicant to be eligible for membership a person must be working at the calling within the territory of the local union in which the individual applies for membership. The member has the right to attend and participate in meetings and functions of the local union, to be a candidate for and hold office or position in the the local union.”

“As each member in good-standing appears for the purpose of voting, such member shall report to the secretary-treasurer and present identification. When a member has shown dues are current and have qualified to vote, they shall each be given an official ballot and permitted to vote.”

Department of labor, provided further, that no such cost-of-living increase can be effected within one year of any other increase in salary or compensation.”
