The Rhinebeck Science Foundation Inc.

The organization's mission is to assist in improving the education of students in the areas of science, math and technology. The organization focuses on these areas because the US needs to maintain excellence in these areas to keep pace with the global developments. The money raised by the organization will provide funding to enhance the public education experience in the Rhinebeck school district. The organization provides funding for the purchase of science equipment much needed by the Rhinebeck schools. Equipment will help educate students in the fields of chemistry, environmental science and biology. The organization is also funding math and science fairs in the Rhinebeck schools, and the first phase of an "Eco-Initiative" in conjunction with another organization, the Cary Institute for Ecosystem Studies.
