The organization hires 20 diverse teenagers every summer from all over the city to grow healthy food for themselves, for our citizens, and for the poor and homeless in our community. Trough a unique combination of sustainable agriculture and educational workshops our youth are awakened to the issues of health responsibility, food justice and hunger relief. Due to covid, instead of hiring teenagers, cooking lessons were provided to families to teach them how to cook crops and crops that were grown were given to needy families and other organizations that feed the community.
