The intended uses of the endowment funds are restricted to the donor imposed stipulations. The funds may be used to support the specified activity, as directed by the donor.

PART X, LINE 2:

Saint luke's foundation is a not-for-profit organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code (the code) and is exempt from federal income taxes on related income pursuant to section 501(a) of the code. Westport today is subject to federal income taxes on unrelated business income. Westport tomorrow is subject to income taxes as a for-profit corporation. Uncertain tax positions, if any, are recorded as a liability if a tax position taken does not meet the more-likely-than not standard that the position will be sustained upon examination by the taxing authorities. There is no liability for uncertain tax positions recorded at december 31, 2015 or 2014.
