The tax return is prepared by the external audit firm and reviewed by management. Once approved by management, the tax return is provided to the board prior to filing.

The board of directors annually sign a conflict-of-interest policy in january. At this time they are required to disclose any interests that may conflict with the organization. Directors are excluded from voting on any matter that may be a potential conflict.
