“Effective november 1,2013, cabot and its sole member, saint luke's health system, approved transfer of the operations and assets of cabot for no consideration to samuel u. Rodgers health center (surhc), a 501(c)(3) charity and a federally qualified health centers (fqhc) in the kansas city area. Surhc will continue cabot's operations and adhere to the overall principles of cabot's mission. Saint luke's agreed to provide financial support totaling $1.3 million through january 1, 2017 to ensure cabot's services continue to fill the health care gap for low-income patients and those with little or no insurance. The clinic provides services for insured and uninsured patients and offers a fully bilingual staff sensitive to the cultural differences and needs of its primarily spanish speaking patients. Cabot dissolved 12/20/2017 since the agreement period with surhc has been fulfilled.”
