Tax preparer produces a draft of the organizations 990 to the board along with any proposed adjustments to the submitted financial statements. Any changes and review of the 990 are discussed and approved by the board or submitted back to the tax preparer for the appropriate changes. Final copy of the tax return is filed upon approval of the governing board.”
