This event is a natural gathering place for other organizations within the field to come together, learn about each others' projects and initiatives to increase collaboration. It can also become a platform for training and launching pen's national chapters.”

Edrev dallas 2016 was a local conference produced by pen dallas to provide resources and community to students with learning and attention differences, their families & the educators that support them. It provided a collaborative atmosphere whre attendees could access accurate information on learning and attention differences from exhibitors and workshop presentations. This even provided hopeful examples of the future, created a community and lessened the stigma associated with learning and attention differences. Attendees left this event with a new appreciation of the strengths of students with learing and attention differences that they take to share within their local communities. 3. Pen facilitates participation in the event "learning and the brain".”
