We are a public charity organization offering support and education for Latino families. We give conferences about different education topics, how to be a better parent and helping children be successful in school and life in general. We offer programs for the community educating families on discipline, self-esteem, responsibility, the risks of the Internet, violence and bullying, substance abuse and family communication. Mano a Mano Foundation has given annual educational conferences about prevention of substance abuse for over 25 years. Program Services

Our culturally sensitive 8-subject workshops program for Latino Families occur throughout San Diego county 150 days out of the 180 school days in California. Location of workshops are public locations where parents and their families have access and are familiar with their surroundings i.e. Schools, places of worship, public centers, etc. For the year 2023 we have served over 3,400 families or an estimated 11,000 people (parents and their children). MAMF public charity organization offering support and education for Latino families is covering the following 8-subject areas of concern in 8-workshop programs for the population we serve are: 1)The Power of Education, 2) Positive Discipline: Limits, 3) Family Illness: Healthy and Toxic Families, 4) The Truth About Drugs: Marihuana/Vaping/and all Others, 5)Education is Prevention: Domestic Violence/Bullying, 6) Mental Health: Emotional Intelligence, Suicide Prevention, Depresion, 7) Internet Dangers: Sex Trafficking,Grooming, Applications, 8) Fentanyl Crisis. Our workshops include testimonies from prior drug users, prior gang members, Latino success stories as well as introduction to local authorities and agencies available to help when needed such as local Sheriffs, San Diego Police, DEA education volunteers, School Principals, and community agencies in the areas of health, immigration law, Law enforcement and crime prevention.$0$0
