“A web site was developed to provide members and the general public support and information about emphysema. Visitors to the site are linked to government and medical resource sites regarding emphysema. Members are able to obtain e-mail addresses of other members, which serves as a support group for those whose lives are affected by emphysema. Currently there are over 2670 members of efforts. There is no membership fee. During year end 5/2009 we received a grant of 95,000 from bxter pharmaceuticals to fund emphysema studies. Payments have been made to us wellness, inc. To perform these studies.”
