Mission

Wild Bird Rehabilitation's primary purpose is to care for injured, ill, and orphaned wild songbirds in the State of Missouri. Our mission also includes providing public information that will lead to a better understanding of wild birds and human interaction with them in a dynamic environment.

Wild bird rehabilitations mission is to provide care for injured, ill and orphaned native wild songbirds and to release them back into their natural habitat. We also provide public education regarding the humane treatment of wild songbirds and the conservation of their habitat.

The executive director may allow no practices or cirumstances that violate commonly accepted business and professional ethics or common business prudence. The executive director may not exceed the operatinal budget without board approval.the executive director may not operate without operational procedures and policies that are known and available to all staff and volunteers. A member of the wbr board shall visit the clinic twice a year to insure the procedural and policy manual is bothknown and availabel to all staff.
