THIS WORK GAINED NATIONAL ATTENTION MORE THAN ONCE AND ITS SUCCESS WAS SHARED WITH U.S. CONGRESS.

THE TRIP BUILT RELATIONSHIPS AMONG THE GROUP AND INSPIRED LOCAL ALDERMAN DO A TRAFFIC CALMING DEMONSTRATION IN HIS WARD. TRAILNET TRAINED LEADERS AT FOUR REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSIONS ON COMPLETE STREETS POLICIES AND DESIGNS. WE ALSO PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO 8 COMMUNITIES STATEWIDE WORKING TO CREATE HEALTHIER COMMUNITIES WITH POLICY AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT STRATEGIES. TRAILNET SELECTED 12 ADVOCATES FOR ITS INAUGURAL WALK BIKE AMBASSADOR CLASS TO ASSIST WITH ITS ADVOCACY.
