“A final copy of the form 990-ez was circularized to the board at the regular meeting on oct. 9, 2018. A list of areas for the board to pay special attention to was also circularized. After review, the form 990 was formally approved by the board. There were no concerns by the board.”

“A "conflicts of interest policy" was circulated at the october 12, 2010 board meeting. It was reveiwed and subsequently adopted by the board. The conflicts policy will be enforced as follows: the first meeting of each year, conflict of interest statements are circulated to the board members to be filled out and signed. Members are required to immediately notify the executive director if any new conflicts of interest have occured.”

“The american legion auxiliary -unit 114 is a local membership organization of women whose relatives served in the american armed forces during certain wartime periods. The auxiliary keeps its members apprised of stories for soldiers, veterans, families & youth. The auxiliary supports various projects which directly or indirectly benefit veterans and/or their descendants. They educate children for leadership through supporting girls nation, the spirit of youth fund, and by organizing local scholaraship programs. They help their members through financial hardships by providing financial assistance to auxiliary members who have exhausted all other personal and community resources. Activites supported include the following: poppy sales youth baseball programs blood drives girls nation other community activities”
