“During 2020, the world health organization declared the outbreak of covid-19 to be a pandemic. Covid-19 has spread across the globe and is impacting worldwide economic activity. The covid-19 outbreak poses the risk that the authority or its contractors and other partners may be prevented from conducting business activities for a period of time, including due to shutdowns that may be requested or mandated by governmental authorities. In recent months, local economic activity has increased, but not yet to the pre-pandemic levels. The authority is monitoring the status of covid-19, and continues to reassess plans and procedures. The extent to which covid-19 will impact the authority on a longer-term basis will depend on future economic recovery and resumed full business activity in st. Louis and the region.”
