Mission

We foster safety and health in our communities by walking with victims along their journey from trauma and tragedy to hope and healing.

To provide advocacy for victims of violent and sexual crimes, prevention education programs that serve children, adolescents, men and women and 24 hour counseling and crisis intervention.

The organization intends to use the endowment funds to carryout the organization's mission.

Schedule D, Page 3, Part X

The organization is a not-for-profit organization that is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and classified by the internal revenue service as other than a private foundation. The organization adopted the provisions of fasb asc 740-10-25. The organization does not believe there are any material uncertain tax positions and, accordingly, it will not recognize any liability for unrecognized tax benefits. For the year ended december 31, 2017, there were no interest or penalties recorded or included in the organizations financial statements. The organizations form 990 return of organization exempt from income taxes, for the years ending 2017, 2016, and 2015 are subject to examination by the irs, generally three years after they are filed.
