Activity 2

Early childhood special education (ecse): the number of children served in the organization's ecse program continues to grow annually, with the fastest growth in the areas of children diagnosed with autism or on the autism spectrum disorder, and children with behavioral challenges growing at almost as fast a pace. The organization continues to work with a variety of experts in the area to ensure the curriculum is meeting best practices to support all areas of disabilities.

Activity 3

Therapy: while the organization's therapy volume of units was down, the organization saw more children for services this year. The organization believes this is a result of the concerns for funding from the referring organizations. The satisfaction rating from parents for all therapy services remained high. While the organization's staff supported three different early intervention teams for first steps services in st. Charles county this year, the number of children the organization actually provided services to was greatly reduced. The organization also began services on an early intervention team in warren county in january 2011. The organization continues to support health and fitness for the children through the power kidz program.
