“Management of the agency monitors and approves all purchase orders and vouchers to ensure that all departments are following and enforcing the agency's policy regarding conflict of interest. If it is found that a conflict of interest regarding purchasing from related parties exists, it is stopped immediately and an alternative vendor is found.”

“The board chair evaluates the president and chief executive officer yearly. The board of directors annually sets the parameters of agency-wide annual salary review/increase. The board chair follows these parameters when establishing the president and chief executive officer's salary.”

“West central's energy conservation unit administers the weatherization assistance program (wap). This program enables low-income families to reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. Funds are used to improve the energy performance of dwellings for families in need, using the most advanced technologies and testing procedures available in the housing industry. The unit also administers the home repair opportunity program (hero) and the missouri housing trust fund (htf) urgency repair program. These programs provide funding to meet the needs for home repair, modification, and maintenance for low and moderate income homeowners in the non-metropolitan areas of missouri. West central weatherized 38 homes and rehabilitated 14 homes in fiscal year 2019 through these programs.”
