Houston Wilderness is a broad-based alliance of business, environmental and government interests that act in concert to protect, preserve and promote the unique biodiversity of the Greater Houston area's remarkably diverse ecosystems.

Houston wilderness works with over 100 business, environmental and governmental entities to protect and promote the diverse ecoregions of the 13-county area around houston, galveston bay and the gulf of mexico, including coastal prairies, forests, wetlands and waterways. We do so through creation and facilitation of regional nature-based policies and initiatives that advocate for and enhance ecosystem services and environmental resilience throughout the region.
