“1. Article iii, section 2, (a) added: membership for each physician who qualifies for regular membership includes one (1) person in his/her practice who is considered an allied healthcare provider and (1) person in his/her practice who is considered business personnel as stipulated in section two (c) below. Such nonphysician providers and personnel have the same rights and privileges as defined in section two (c), but they are not be required to pay dues. 2. Associate membership also is open to all iowa licensed physicians who either treat patients with cancer or are interested in medical oncology and hematology issues. Associate members are eligible to attend membership meetings and conferences, serve on committees, and receive official society publications. They are not allowed to vote or hold office, and unless they join with a regular or group member, they pay nominal dues.”
