The organization ensures that each director within the governing board annually receives the conflict of interest policy, and have the directors sign a statement which affirms that they have read, understand, and will comply with the policy.

The officers to the board of directors meet annually to conduct the executive director's job performance & compensation review. After analyzing the results of the review, comparability data, and other determining factors, the officers make a recommendation to the board for the executive director's compensation. The proposed compensation is voted on at the annual retreat in january.
