“The pocahontas chamber hosts heritage days on an annual basis. The revenue is usually sponsorships of events by the members. This is an event where the community comes together and enjoys entertainment for the adults and games for the children.”

“Haunted house project is a joint venture between the pocahontas fire department and chamber. They hosted a haunted house in which members from the chamber participated in setting up and were actively involved in the haunted house. This was enjoyed by kids and adults of all ages.”

“Pocahontas car show - this event draws in individuals with their special autos to display them in downtown pocahontas. Many members sponsor this event and one auto is declared a winner. Many individuals come from out of town along with the local community to enjoy this event.”

“The chambeer hosts many other events for the community and it's members which include an annual banquet, art walk in downtown pocahontas, and hometown christmas. All of these events promote pocahontas.”
