Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 28

In 2022, the gorge technology alliance supported over 90 member and sponsor companies in our work to support, grow, and develop a thriving tech community in the columbia river gorge. The board and staff worked together to target the goals of the strategic plan in the following ways. Focus on continuing to foster a thriving gorge tech community: organization members and sponsors attended diverse tech conferences and events within and outside of the region to drive ongoing tech talent to the area. Promote and support member businesses: gta staff promoted businesses through social media and other online platforms, in addition to traditional methods such as press releases. Businesses were featured in online spotlights and several businesses hosted large events that included company tours. Support stem education: gta worked in partnership with columbia gorge stem hub to smoothly transition all stem education and robotics services under their direction. Board and staff continue to support stem hub activities in addition to career-connected learning, career and college collaborative, and career and technical education programming. Optimize gta's impact: staff worked closely with gorge women in stem to advance their efforts in recognizing talent and reconnecting with others in the industry. Staff and board worked to create a comprehensive, inclusive list of individuals and businesses in the region utilizing tech and innovation in order to expand the reach and impact of the organization.
