THROUGH STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS AND DEDICATED PROGRAMMING, WE ADVANCED OUR MISSION OF EMPOWERING UNDERPRIVILEGED WOMEN WITH ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR SUSTAINABLE EMPLOYMENT AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. We are empowering the residents of nacogdoches county for successful employment and helping them pursue their life goals, whether it is a better job, a better education, or a better life.

During the 2024 fiscal year, christian women's job corps (cwjc) provided comprehensive services to 169 individuals and families throughout nacogdoches county. Through strategic partnerships and dedicated programming, we advanced our mission of empowering underprivileged women with essential skills for sustainable employment and personal development. Cwjc strengthened existing relationships and established new collaborations with various organizations committed to our mission: maintained robust partnerships with local agencies, churches, and businesses to advocate for essential community services formalized collaboration with workforce solutions to enhance employment opportunities for participants expanded outreach initiatives to diverse communities, including the hispanic and haitian populations engaged with local university faculty to evaluate and enhance our program curriculum our comprehensive approach to skill development yielded significant results: conducted three intensive 8-week classroom instruction sessions on-site delivered 576 total classroom hours of quality education implemented revitalized job readiness curriculum designed to increase participants' marketability provided participants with personalized vocational planning, resulting in either immediate employment or continued education pathways participants benefited from a range of tailored services: professional resume development enhanced digital literacy training financial literacy education and budgeting skills individualized mentorship continuing education scholarships for program graduates high school equivalency preparation and adult basic education our data demonstrates significant positive outcomes: 90% of graduates experienced increased employment levels 95% of graduates achieved reduced poverty levels 10% of participants pursued higher education opportunities cwjc's mission attracted significant community support: welcomed 108 dedicated volunteers hosted 4 professional interns through a partnership with texas workforce solutions experienced notable volunteer growth driven by mission enthusiasm total clients and families served 169 active volunteers 108 program graduates 16 onsite interns 4 online course participants 20 hse/abe instruction recipients 8
