The cooperative center for study abroad, as a consortium of 24 american colleges and universities, has as its educational mission to foster international understanding and to enhance the education of the association's members' students by offering reasonably priced educational opportunities abroad, primaryily in english speaking regions. To fulfill this mission, the ccsa provides joint planning, coordination, recruitment, and implementation for programs of study in such countries as the united kingdom, ireland, australia. And other regions world-wide where english is one of the primary languages . The ccsa sponsors various educational programs ranging from two to five weeks in length, as well as internship programs in london, dublin, and sydney, and semester programs in england at the university of east anglia and the university of manchester .
