Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization has received notification that it qualifies as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and corresponding provision of state law. Accordingly, the organization is not subject to federal income taxes except to the extent it derives income from certain activities not substantially related to its tax-exempt purposes (unrelated trade or business activities). The organization had no material unrelated business income during the year. For the years ended december 31, 2024 and 2023, there was no related liability. The organization follows the accounting standards for contingencies in evaluating uncertain tax positions. This guidance prescribes recognition threshold principles for the financial statement recognition of tax positions taken or expected to be taken on a tax return that are not certain to be realized. No liability has been recognized by the organization for uncertain tax positions as of december 31, 2024 and 2023.
