Career development:we assist women and men to find, manage and advance in meaningful careers aligned with their skills, talents and meeting their full potential. We provide resources and support which champion women in increasing confidence to own and communicate their professional worth and negotiate for compensation commensurate to their experience. Services include life coaching, career consulting, personal branding and communication via social media, career transition workshops and support groups, personality and career testing, and assessments. Womenventure also provides a community forum for professional discussion via our womenventure lindkedin group and our twitter and facebook sites. This program was discontinued at july 1, 2012.for corporate and community clients, womenventure designs and delivers employee training and development sessions specific to each organization's goals. This program was discontinued at july 1, 2012.

Activity 3

Non-traditional work: women can do it! Program provides training and support to low-income women transitioning into non-traditional careers for women that offer high wages and opportunity for advancement, including construction, trades, manufacturing, green careers, and information technology. The purpose of the women can do it! Program is to not only help women secure and retain employment, but to provide them with the skills and support they need to be outstanding employees and excel in their careers. The women can do it! Program served 79 women between july 1, 2011 - june 30, 2012. This program was discontinued at july 1, 2012.
