“The Lake Region Arts Council will use the guidelines established by Minnesota Rule Charter 1900.0419 Subq to guide its actions. Review of the Conflict of Interest Policy will be done by a Each new member shall be required to review a copy of this policy and to acknowledge in writing that he or she has done so. b Each reviewer shall annually complete a disclosure form indentifying any relationships, positions or circumstances in which the reviewer is involved that he or she believes could contribute to a Conflict of Interest arising. Such relationships, positions or circumstances migh include service as Director or Consultant to a Non-Profit organization. Any such information regarding of a reviewers family member shall be treated as confidential and shall generally be made available only to the Chair, Executive Director and any Committee appointed to address Conflict of Interest except to the extent additional disclosure is necessary in connection with implementation of the policy. c This policy shall be reviewed annually by each member of the Board of Directors. Any changes to the policy shall be communicated immediately to all reviewers.”

The Executive Committee will perform the evaluation of the Executive Director and the Executive Director will complete evaluation of the LRAC staff. The Executive Director is responsible to the LRAC Chair on a daily basis. This process includes evaluation the Executive Director by the Directors of Minnesota State Arts Board if Minnesota Citizens for the Arts and the Chair of the Forum Regional Arts Council and the Executive Committee of the Lake Region Arts Council. Other staff are evaluated by the Executive Director and employee themselves. All staff compensation decisions taken into consideration the state wide rate of compensation for similar positions. The Lake Region Arts Council Boards annual decision about staff compensation is documented in the meeting minutes.”
