“Annual banquet was a new event for the chamber as a way to kick-start the year and membership drive by serving a nice meal to businesses that were already or thinking about becoming members (free tickets for members, low fee for others), highlighting what the chamber and mt lake economic development agency are doing in town and how businesses can join in.”

“Sunflower day is an opportunity for our businesses to say "thank you" to community members for shopping locally. Businesses buy (from the chamber) and distribute to their customers coupons for ice cream sundaes served by the chamber in the park on a summer evening in august. Stores run special deals that day and some vendors are in teh park for the evening.”
