Mission

Wrtp is a 501(c)3 nonprofit workforce intermediary dedicated to connecting people to familysustaining jobs. Our mission is to enhance the ability of public and private sector organizations to recruit, develop, and retain a more diverse, qualified workforce in construction, manufacturing and emerging sectors of the regional economy.

To develop services and training programs for area employers to expand employment opportunities.

Compensation is set by the board of directors for the president, by the president, and the executive committee of the board for management positions, and by management and the finance committee for other staff positions. Comparative data is received from the mra 2017-18 nonprofit compensation & benefits survey. During the subsequent years, the finance committee and president review compensation of staff annually as part of the overall budget approval process.

Financial Statement Notes

PART V, LINE 4:

The board is currently following the investment policy of the greater milwaukee foundation where the funds are invested. The spending policy dictates that no distributions from the fund shall be made until the corpus has reached the amount agreed upon by the board of directors. Once that corpus has been established, distributions will be made in accordance with the disbursement policy followed by the greater milwaukee foundation. Expenditures from the endowment account will be used for operations of the organization.

PART X, LINE 2:

Wrtp is exempt from income tax under 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and is classified as other than a private foundation. Triada employment services, llc is solely owned llc and therefore the internal revenue service considers it to be a disregarded entity for tax purposes. All triada employment service, llc activity is included under wrtp for tax purposes.
