Mission

The concert performances are intended to develop audiences for classical chamber music and educate them to the wide variety of literature available to such an ensemble and to demonstrate the unique intimacy between audience and musicians one can experience at the concerts.

Performing and educating people regarding chamber music, bringing music to those that can benefit the most and enhancing their quality of life.

The midsummer's music's, ltd finance committee will review and comment on the draft of midsummer's music, ltd. Irs form 990 no later than the committee's meeting in the month prior to required irs filing. The committee's comments will be incorporated in the final irs form 990 and forwarded electronically to all finance committee members. All board directors will receive the final irs form 990 (including all schedules and donor information) electronically no later than two weeks before it is submitted to the irs and will be asked to electronically acknowledge before the irs filing date that they received the form. A copy of the final irs form 990 will be available to the general public, excluding any confidential donor information.

WE CONTINUED OUR COMPOSER IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM AND COMMISSIONED OUR TENTH PIECE SINCE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE PROGRAM. ALSO, THERE WAS A CONTINUED RECOGNITION OF LEGACY SOCIETY MEMBERS (PEOPLE NAMING US IN THEIR WILL) TO INCREASE LEGACY MEMBERSHIP. OUR MUSIC FOR FOOD CHAPTER IN DOOR COUNTY WAS ALSO PART OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS WHERE ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE CONCERT BENEFIT A LOCAL FOOD BANK TO END HUNGER IN OUR COMMUNITIES. DONATIONS ARE GIVEN VIA FOOD OR MONEY WHICH GOES TO THE LOCAL FOOD PANTRY.
