“The organization has 6 classes of membership: amusement and music operators association (amoa), manufacturer, distributor, operator, associate and player. The amoa shall be a member of the organization. A manufacturer member is a member that manufactures dart games and is in good standing with amoa. A distributor member includes entities who qualify as amusement machine distributors under the constitution and by laws of the amoa and who are in good standing with amoa. An operating member is an entity who qualifies as an amusement machine operator under the constitution and bylaws of the amoa and who are in good standing with the amoa. Associate members are manufacturers and suppliers of products for, or whose products or services compliment the game of darts. Player members are all sanctioned members of dart leagues participating in leagues formed by operator members and competing on equipment owned and operated by operator members. All members shall have the same rights, obligations, privileges, liability, limitations and except for associate, distributor and player members shall have no voting rights and shall not be eligible to serve as officers or directors of the organization.”

“Manufacturer directors shall be elected by a majority vote of all of the manufacturer members at the annual meeting of the members, with each manufacturer member being entitled to cast one (1) vote for each vacancy. Operator directors shall be elected by a majority vote of all of the operator members at the annual meeting of the members, with each operator member being entitled to cast one (1) vote for each vacancy.”

“The executive committee shall review and approve the return prior to submission. The full board will then receive a copy of the return within 30 days of submission.”

“All board members are required to sign an annual declaration of any conflicts of interest. Any conflicts of interest brought to attention is then reviewed on a case by case basis.”

“Consistent with the requirements of section 6104(d) of the internal revenue code and regulations thereunder, copies of irs form 990 and application for exemption shall be made available upon request, in a timely manner, and subject to the charges permitted by law to any individuals who request it. Other governing documents and financial statements are made available to the individuals requesting them in a timely manner.”
