DCEDC WORKED WITH BUSINESSES, NWTC AND SECONDARY EDUCATORS IN 2022 TO FACILITATE A COMPUTER NUMERICAL CONTROL (CNC) MACHINING PROGRAM IN DOOR COUNTY, AS WORKERS TRAINED IN UTILIZING THESE TOOLS WAS IDENTIFIED AS A TOP NEED FOR MANUFACTURERS IN DOOR COUNTY. DCEDC PROVIDES PROGRAMS TO INTEREST DOOR COUNTY STUDENTS IN BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ENCOURAGING THEM TO STAY IN DOOR COUNTY AND BE A PART OF THE WORKFORCE. DCEDC ALSO WORKS TO ATTRACT NEW WORKING AGE FAMILIES TO DOOR COUNTY TO BECOME RESIDENTS AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE ECONOMY AND WORKFORCE YEAR-ROUND.
