Shriners hospital for children. All care and services are provided regardless of the families' ability to pay. Acceptance is based solely on a child's medical needs. The hospital system operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization relying on the generous support of shriners, corporations and the general public to carry out it's mission and improve the lives of children. Beja shriners not only raise money for the hospitals but also do a variety of fundraising activities to support the temple.
