The ecopark provides an interactive, fun and physically engaging education experience for visitors of all types. It creates a higher appreciation and understanding of the natural resources and ecosystems of the area, along with showing people how a sustainable building can be built and used. Playscapes also provide opportunities for children to engage in outdoor physical activity and environmental education.

The mayor of the city of la crosse appoints one member to the board of directors of myrick hixon ecopark. The chairperson of the city of la crosse park board and two park board representatives are also ex-officio members of the board of directors of myrick hixon ecopark. The la crosse area rotary clubs appoint three members to the board of directors. Members of myrick hixon ecopark vote to elect the remaining members of the board of directors. There is a single class of membership with one vote per member.

Schedule D, Page 3, Part X

Fasb asc 740-10 (previously financial interpretation no. 48, accounting for uncertainty in income taxes) prescribes a recognition threshold and a measurement attribute for the financial statement recognition and measurement of tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tas return. For those benefits to be recognized, a tax position must be more-likely- than-not to be substained upon examination by taxing authorities. The ecopark believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken, and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements.
